Pierre has over 26 years of international business leadership in corporate and start-up companies within the MedTech industry.  He enjoys working with teams and individuals who share his passion for growing a business through creating a culture of high performing results built on mutual trust and common goals.

Having completed an MBA in International Management in the USA, Pierre started his career with Medtronic where he spent 20 years living in Belgium, France, Switzerland, the UK and Ireland consistently demonstrating leadership and growing the European business faster than the market. He achieved Medtronic’s highest sales accolade, the President’s Club in 2009, and was awarded Medtronic’s worldwide marketing excellence award in 2004.

In 2010, Pierre saw the potential in a new, disruptive product and decided to change trajectory and move to the start-up world with Cameron Health, a VC-funded medical device company based in California. He was responsible for successfully commercializing their innovative implantable defibrillator across Europe, working with a European cross-functional team, key opinion leaders, health experts and physicians to secure market access and optimal product adoption. Cameron Health was acquired by Boston Scientific two years later in June 2012.

Convinced by Boston Scientific’s new CEO’s ability to turn around an underperforming company, Pierre decided to accept a new challenge with Boston Scientific leading their largest European Business Unit. Over a period of five years involving organization development, people restructuring, culture transformation and the integration of three acquired companies, Pierre’s team outperformed the market consistently over 12 quarters.

Today, Pierre has taken the decision to change his work-life balance by reducing his corporate involvement and focusing on his core strengths of people and strategy development. He continues to work on a part-time basis as an executive advisor for Boston Scientific coaching six individuals from their high potential talent pool. He is also the current president of the European Health Summit which will bring together entrepreneurs, investors and industry players under the “Tech Tour” umbrella in Switzerland in June 2017. Pierre is also an executive board member with a start-up company.
